Sustainable Energy Design provides electrical design services for a range of industries and sectors. We are an accedited Level 3 Service Porvider (L3 ASP). The SED process for auditing power usage and designing energy efficient solutions involves:
- Reviewing power layout and distribution
- Analysing usage ie processes undertaken in the facilities, equipment used and lighting requirements
- Producing a map of power distribution and usage
- Making recommendations with cost benefit analysis on:
- Replacing equipment with more energy efficient alternatives
- Installing sensors and switches
- Identifying opportunities for energy load levelling
- Installing control systems
- Installing power factor correction units
